Superintendent's Message, Dr. Brady Dickinson

Dear TFSD Parents, Students, Patrons, and Staff Members,

As we move through the second half of the school year, I am continuously impressed by the dedication and hard work of our students, staff, and families. Together, we are creating opportunities for success and building a strong foundation for the future.

I am excited to share that the school year calendar for 2025-26 was finalized and approved by the school board in December. The calendar committee worked diligently to incorporate feedback from our community. This collaborative effort resulted in a calendar that reflects the needs of our learning community and ensures ample time for instruction and professional development. You can find the new calendar in this edition of the District Focus or on the TFSD website.

In the coming weeks, middle and high school students will begin the registration process for the next school year. This is a pivotal time for students and families to explore the many programs and courses offered in our schools. Whether your student is interested in advanced placement, dual credit, career technical education, or a wide variety of electives, there’s something for everyone. I encourage families to engage in this process together and take full advantage of the resources and guidance available from school counselors and staff members.

Looking ahead, kindergarten registration is scheduled for April. Starting this journey early helps ensure a smooth transition for students and allows schools to plan for optimal class sizes and resource allocation. If you have a child entering kindergarten, please take the time to register in advance and connect with your neighborhood school. We look forward to welcoming our youngest learners to the TFSD family!

Thank you for your continued support of the Twin Falls School District. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of our students and our community.

Sincerely,
Dr. Brady Dickinson
Superintendent of Schools
